Whitney’s Death Helps Boost Bobby’s Career.

4 Apr

No, not “my prerogotive” bobby brown, I mean Bobby Kristina Brown.  It turns out mom’s death is the best thing that could have happened to the young entertainer.  Following her appearance on Oprah last month, her career has really started to blossom.  The 19-year-old Brown will be a new addition to the TBS’ comedy “Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse”.  Let me assure our Caucasian readers that this is indeed a big deal.  Some have criticized Bobby Kristina for moving into the entertainment world so soon after her mother’s death, but I for one am glad that she has stepped  up to carry the pipe torch.

Coming Out In 2012

1 Apr

I think we have all known for a while now, but I wanted to make the official announcement. These guys are coming out big time in 2012!

Zac Efron in The Lucky One

Robert Pattinson in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Josh Hutcherson in The Hungers Games

Justin Bieber with Boyfriend. Yes the name of his new single is actually Boyfriend. No doubt 2012 is a big coming out year for Justin. I think his new single is just a sneak peek into what he will be coming out with next.

Gay… Emo…Whats the Difference?

13 Mar

Apparently, there is none if you are from Iraq.  Now I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve had trouble telling the difference myself.  Emo does seem very gay, with all the eyeliner, and crying; however, according to this article, in Iraq they draw no distinction between the two, and are targeting  emo kids and stoning them to death.  I found this very amusing…….not the stoning to death part, but the part where they think being emo and being gay are one and the same.  My girlfriend however felt that there was nothing funny about it, and that I was insensitive.  I ‘ll leave it up to our readers to decide.

A Few Tips From the Shallow

What really matters is what you like, not what you are like… Books, records, films — these things matter. Call me shallow but it’s the f*ckin’ truth – High Fidelity

And we promise… men will want to be your friend and women will want to sleep with you

Living In a Gangsta’s Paradise

9 Mar

This week musical sensation Coolio got himself thrown into prison so he could spend more time with his son. Coolio is a real artist and a great father figure. His actions remind us that most African American men embrace the Fantastic Voyage of fatherhood. Still we must remember that many white kids are not lucky enough to have such a dope dad.

Weird Al (a white and nerdy man) who has been linked to Coolio since he released Amish Paradise, a parody of Coolio’s hit jam Gangsta’s Paradise, could have used a father like Coolio. Instead Weird Al’s parents killed themselves because they were so ashamed of his career. Personally I think they overreacted; UHF is better than most George Lucas films.
